Linda Varga, 79, passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2025, in Lambertville, Michigan, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with complications from cancer.
Born on February 10, 1946, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Linda was the beloved child of Margarette and Raymond. Her life was marked by a deep generosity of spirit and an unwavering commitment to bringing joy to others through both grand gestures and everyday kindness.
Linda shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Thomas. Together they built a loving family that includes their children Chris, Michael (Katie) and Ashley (Christian) Boyer. Linda also carried the memory of their daughter Melissa, who passed away in 1979. Her legacy continues through nine cherished grandchildren: Sydney, Summer, Erin, Rhemy, Penelope, Parker, Aria, Johnathan, and Maxwell.
A vibrant presence in every community she touched, Linda gave freely of her time and talents. She was an active member of the Toledo Symphony League and contributed enthusiastically to The Toledo Club’s food and beverage committee. Whether organizing events or lending a helping hand behind the scenes, Linda found joy in creating meaningful experiences for others.
Her artistic eye found expression through photography and art—passions that allowed her to capture beauty in both the extraordinary and the everyday. A proud member of the swim club “The Mermaids,” Linda embraced life with energy and camaraderie. She especially delighted in traveling the world and celebrating birthdays ice skating on the lake with her family as moments that became treasured traditions.
Above all else, Linda adored spending time with her grandchildren. Babysitting was not just a task but a source of immense joy; a way to nurture bonds across generations with warmth and laughter.
