Lawrence “Larry” Drozdowicz, 63 of Sylvania, OH, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024. Larry was born October 29, 1961, to parents Alfred and Virginia (Mikulak) Drozdowicz, and grew up in Toledo’s Polish Village. He was employed with the Sisters of Saint Francis for the past 25 years and was still working when he passed. He loved his family very much. Larry possessed an infectious smile that never left his face. He enjoyed entertaining friends in his man cave, Budweiser Beer, all sports, and spending time with his friends from the Polish neighborhood.
Larry has been together with Kay (Kosanke) Drozdowicz for 20 years and married to her for another 20 years, she will forever miss his loyal and abiding love; he is also survived by step-daughters Lori (Ron) Zwickel and Kristine (Eliot) Baggs; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Adam, Jake, and Griffin; sister Sandy (Guy) Ingram; brothers Michael (Dianne), Don (Mary Jo) and Dennis Drozdowicz; many nieces, nephews, cousins, brother in law Kai Kosanke and sister in law Jeanene Drozdowicz. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim Drozdowicz. Larry’s Life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11:00am at the Queen of Peace Chapel, located on the grounds of Sisters of St. Francis, Sylvania, OH.
Those wishing to offer memorials in Larry’s memory are asked to consider, in lieu of flowers, tributes to the American Cancer Society.
