Judith Ellen (Scott) Shively

Judith “Judy” Shively, 82, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, while under hospice care. Judy was born in Washington Township, OH, to parents Albert F. and Mary L. (Hammond) Scott. She was employed with Darlington House where she worked as a nurse’s aide for many years before retiring.                                                                                                  Judy and her husband Larry enjoyed long motorcycle rides, going to festivals and seeing ships in the harbor.  She loved to go to the Polish festival and Sour Kraut festivals. She was an avid mushroom hunter and loved watching the bird and squirrels outside her window at home.  Judy was a selfless individual. She willingly gave her time to anyone needing her help. She would enjoy long walks in the woods and just being outside. Judy was happy to assist anyone in her neighborhood. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Judy really was everyone’s Mom!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              She is survived by her sons Kenny (Donna), Kregg (Sandy), and Khristopher (Lynne) Shively; grandchildren Amanda, Gabby, Fred, Lucas, Hunter, Sydney, Alexis, Skyler, Kamron, Marisa, Johnny, Tyler, and Lindsay; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Janie, Teddy, and Becky; and brothers Scotty and Joel. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Larry who passed in 2020; and brother Tom.   Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Friday, September 9th from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 PM.
