Joyce Rogers Obituary

Joyce L. Rogers, 87, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed peacefully, with her loving family by her side, Monday, September 3, 2018, at the Ebeid Hospice Residence. Joyce was a special person, her smile would light up a room, there were no strangers in her world. She was an accomplished artist, she could sketch, paint, carve, but her specialty was creating beautiful quilts. Joyce had a plan for every scrap of material that would eventually turn into a beautiful work of art. Many of her award-winning quilts were recognized in national magazines. Joyce is survived by her daughters Susan (Bob) Neyrinck, Mary (Boomer) Kleindienst, and Joy LaPlante; sons Richard Jr. (Darlene) and William (Lisa) Rogers; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Rogers Sr.; and grandson Shane Rogers. Joyce’s life will be celebrated on 6th of October, please call a family member for complete details.
