Joshua Scott Wend

Joshua Scott Wend, 47, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Flower Hospital. Josh was born, December 23, 1978, in Toledo, Ohio.

More than anything Josh loved his family. Especially playing sports with his children, watching Formula 1 Racing with Amanda and listening to music.

 He was happiest when they were all together. Josh is survived by loving wife of more than 22 years Amanda (Duly) Wend; daughters Makayla, Sage, and Amalyn Wend; sons Josh II, Noah, Eli, and Malachi Wend; mother Diane Wend-(Wayne) Welch; Father James (Janet)Wend; brothers James II (Lindsay) and Joe (April) Wend.

Friends and family may call Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Five Lakes Church, the McCord Road Campus From 11:00am until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 1:00pm, Pastor Micah Sutton, officiating. Those wishing to offer memorials, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider tributes to the family.
