John Gregory Todak

John Gregory Todak, born April 2, 1994 to John and Tracy Todak, died at his home on February 3, 2021.                                                                  

Greg graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2012. While at CCHS, Greg was heavily involved in their music programs. He played the tuba in both the marching and concert bands.                                          

After graduation, Greg attended Owens Community College, earning his associate degree in welding. Most recently he was working on his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at The University of Toledo.    

Greg was very handy, impressing friends and family with his skills with cars, home repairs and remodeling and much more. Greg had recently purchased a home and was very busy with the remodeling process.       

Greg was employed as a fabricator at Labcraft Inc./Furn Tech in Waterville. He previously worked at Swanton Welding and Colony Hardware.             

Since 2016, Greg also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve where he was an Engine Petty Officer 2nd Class.                                                                    

Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Nancy Hornack and Jim Todak. Left to cherish his memory are his parents John & Tracy Todak; Grandmother Jeanne Todak; and brother Ryan Todak. Also surviving are aunts and uncles Candy & Rick Morel; Darrell Huntley; Patty & Mike Quinn; Jim & Debby Todak; Mike & Pat Todak; as well as many cousins.                                                                                                         

Friends and family may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 North Main Street in Sylvania on Friday, February 12, beginning at 4 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m.
