Jill Anne Sullins Dallas, 66, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Feb. 15, 1958, to Charles Sullins and Carolyn Daler Sullins in Toledo, Ohio and they moved to Sylvania in 1959. From that time on she has been a resident of Sylvania. A 1976 graduate of Sylvania High School, she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Mark Dallas, as soon as she graduated in June of 1976. Three sons were born to them, and they provided her with three wonderful grandchildren that she loved with all her heart. They soon purchased J & G’s Pizza in downtown Sylvania and while Mark managed the operations Jill kept the books, but also filled in where necessary. She wore many hats over the years and was a huge part of the operation.
In 2022 when her son Nicholas came up with the idea of using the space to the north, in the J & G’s building, and adding on to their well-established pizza/gyros business with a brewery/bar that they called “The Dallas Tap Room” Jill and Mark were all in, and by 2023 they held their grand opening.
Jill’s greatest love was their cabin in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan, with family gatherings all the time, and their annual “Up North Cabin Bash” every 4 th of July being remembered by family members as EPIC.
Another one of Jill’s favorite times was her Wednesday nights out with her family. She wouldn’t miss that for anything. Jill was quiet but her heart was huge, and she was always ready for a family gathering and party.
She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws Albert and Darlene (Jenkins) Bishop. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Mark; Sons, Pandelis (Mara; Nicholas (Melissa), and Andrew Dallas; Brothers, Bart (Julie) Sullins; and Bret Sullins; Sisters, Gayleen (Sam) Gindy; and Amy (Robert) Verhelst; Step-father, Melvin Micham; Grandchildren, who where her pride and joy, Luna, Miles and Teddy Dallas, and who will miss her love. Also left with a huge hole in their hearts are her nieces and nephews, who she was very close to all their lives.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday September 25, 2024, at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, at 2:00 P.M. Contributions in Jill’s name to Heartland Hospice. Online condolences to reebfuneralhom.com
