Jerry E. Stuard Jr., 69, of Holland, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 15, 2026, at Ebeid Northwest Ohio Hospice. He was born on April 19, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, to Jerry E. Stuard Sr. and Marjorie R. (O’Dell) Stuard.
Jerry held a variety of jobs over the years, but the one closest to his heart was working on cars. He spent over 30 years as a mechanic and had a true passion for restoring old-school cars, often working alongside his cousin, Jimmy Stuard.
In his free time, Jerry enjoyed playing pool, singing karaoke, fishing with his children when they were younger and watching NASCAR.
Jerry is survived by his children: Christinia (David) Orner of Swanton, Ohio; Suzanne Stuard of Holland, Ohio; and Jerry E. Stuard III of Holland, Ohio. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Sherry (Larry) Hagmann of Neapolis, Ohio; along with two nieces and nephews, and six great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry E. Stuard Sr.; his mother, Marjorie R. (O’Dell) Stuard; his grandparents and great-grandparents; and his great-nephew, Jason.
A graveside service will be held on March 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Springfield Township Cemetery, 7601 Annin St., Holland, Ohio. A celebration of life will follow at the Centurions Motorcycle Club, located at 1501 Whitehouse-Spencer Rd., Swanton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his children to assist with funeral expenses.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the UTMC staff for the care provided. A special thank you to Ebeid Northwest Ohio Hospice for the compassionate care given to Jerry in his final days. Your kindness made a difficult time a little easier and it is truly appreciated.
