Jeremy Daniel Cubberly

Jeremy Daniel Cubberly, 24, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away suddenly at work on  Thursday, January 16th, 2025. Jeremy was born on November 8th, 2000 in Toledo, Ohio to Shirley Sue (Parker) Cubberly and Jeremy Dean Cubberly. 

Jeremy was a loving, kind, and easygoing young man. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and he especially liked playing Warhammer with his father. He was very thoughtful and would do anything to make his loved ones happy. He was so excited and proud to be a father. 

Jeremy graduated from Bedford Senior High School in 2019. He worked in the family business with his father as a tile setter. He was a hard worker and was poised to take over the business. 

Jeremy is survived by his spouse, Rachael Groves; his daughter, Ellie Cubberly; his loving parents, Shirley (Parker) Cubberly and Jeremy Dean Cubberly; his siblings, Paige (Matthew) Cubberly-Decker and Laney (Avery) Guiher; his grandparents Mary and Ralph Parker, Donna and Fred Wolfe, and Ellen Cubberly; and great-grandparents Doris and John Schaffer, and Janice Percy. 

We invite you to join us in celebration of Jeremy’s life, who was tragically taken from us too soon. A memorial service will be held at Reeb funeral home in Sylvania, Ohio on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held on January 27th 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at Reeb funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Deerfield cemetery at a later date.
