Jerald Thaddius Jankalski was born on August 2, 1943, in New Jersey City NJ to Theodore Jankalski and Irene Gorsky. He had a long career in inside sales for the tool and die Industry, working at Butterfield and McMullen Tool in the Detroit area. He married the love of his life Shirley Ann Waters on August 12, 1963, in Jellico Tennessee. When his children were younger the family would travel the US in his van and pop-up camper, going coast to coast seeing all the sights. Jerald and Shirley enjoyed traveling all over the country as well as Internationally. They returned to Tennessee and built their beautiful retirement home In LaFollette where they enjoyed many years of family holidays. He is survived by his sister Joanne (John) and niece Brenda Miele. daughters, Cynthia Jacobsen and Stacy (James) Helman and son Brad Jankalski. Grand- children Thom Jacobsen, Jeromy (Valerie) Jacobsen, Herb (Tina) Jacobsen, Andrew Jacobsen, Leah Hubern , Amy (Emmett) Hull, Brad Jr Jankalski, Zach Jankalski. He also had 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, brothers Bobby (Virginia) Jankalski, and Thaddeus Jankalski. Bless you Pops, we will miss you. A gathering will be held for family and friends on Saturday, November 2, from 1pm to 4pm at the Sylvania Moose Lodge 1579 located at 6072 Main Street Sylvania, OH 43560.
