Jeffrey JAKOB Obituary

Jeffrey Allen Jakob, 63, of Toledo, OH, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. Jeff was born in Toledo, OH, August 13, 1957, to parents Anthony and Virginia Jakob. He graduated from Start High School in 1976. Jeff owned and operated Jakob A. Marine Service, for more than 30 years. He was interested in military history and enjoyed building exact models of W.W.II equipment. Jeff loved the time spent boating and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed many years of coaching CYO football.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of more than 22 years, Dar (Wilczynski) Jakob; sons Tony (Sarena) Jakob and Jeremy Goldstein; grandchildren Kyle, Kassie, and Kayleigh Jakob. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Nicholas Jakob.

Dar plans to celebrate Jeff’s life when the COVID-19 Crisis lessens, and all his family and friends can gather safely.
