Jane Lynn (Geisler) Sobb

Jane Sobb "Gigi" (76), of Monclova, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving sons on Sunday, November 16th, 2025. 

Jane was born to Ollie and Elsie Geisler in Toledo, Ohio where she lived until moving to Monclova Township in 2013 with her husband Jerry. Jane attended Rogers High School, graduating in 1967. She entered the working world, eventually beginning her career with Checker Distributors where she worked for 25 years, retiring in 2008 as Officer Manager.

Jane married Gerald (Jerry) Sobb on May 19, 1975 and together they started a loving and wonderful life together. They had three sons, Brian, Mike and Mark who filled their lives playing sports and with family activities. Jane's sons blessed her with four wonderful daughters-in-law and five amazing grandchildren who were the love of her life. Jane was devoted to her family and always left them with hugs and a genuine "I love you".

Jane and Jerry enjoyed many vacations together. They took cruises with friends, and spent several wonderful family vacations with their sons and their families on Hilton Head Island. 

Jane (Gigi) and Jerry (Papa) spent their time doing family things and following their five grandchildren's school programs and athletic events. Gigi never missed an opportunity to tell her family how blessed she was, having such a wonderful family.

Jane is survived by her son Brian (Lisa) and granddaughter Evelyn, son Michael (Jessica) and grandsons Brodi and Dylan, son Mark (Christy) and grandson Conrad (Angel) Fleeson and granddaughter Jolie. She is also survived by brother Jerry Reiter, sisters-in-law Barb and Cherie Geisler, brother-in-law James Barnes, many nieces and nephews and countless close and loving friends. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Jerry, brothers James and John Geisler, and sister Susan Barnes. 

Visitation will be on Monday, November 24th at Reeb Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the interment immediately following at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to the City of Sylvania Police FOP.
