Geraldene Louise Knaggs

Geraldene Louise (Greene) Knaggs, 91, of Blissfield, MI, formerly of Ottawa Lake, MI, died Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Blissfield Place Assisted Living. Born December 13, 1929, in Bremen, IN, she was the daughter of Ernest and Verbena (Knuth) Greene. A 1948 graduate of Blissfield High School, she married Robert Olin Knaggs on September 4, 1948. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2013. She was an active member of the Blissfield-Liewert Senior Center and enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking care of her lawn. She enjoyed many years at the lake.
She is survived by her loving children, Sharon L. Johnson, Kathleen S. Howard, Michelle M. (Ronald) Sulier, and Janet R. (Steve) Clements; sister, Cynthia "Jean" Schmidlin; grandchildren, Heidi, Heather, Melanie, Amy, Rachel, Robert, Susan, Steven, Rebecca, and Sarah; 21 great-grandchildren; in-laws, Bernard Brosamer, Gloria Knaggs, Faye Knaggs, Genni Knaggs, Melvin (Mary) Knaggs, Howard (Bonnie) Knaggs, Joann Young and many many nieces and nephews. And her special pet, Max.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bruce Robert Knaggs; sisters, Darlene Schmidt, Sandra “Joan” Porter; brother, William Greene and many in-laws.
Visitation will be Friday, April 30, 2021 from 4pm until 8pm at the Reeb Funeral Home 5712 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560, where funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11am. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Gerry was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed!
