Gerald "Jerry" Miller, 95, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023 at the Promedica Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, Ohio. Jerry was born on May 23, 1927, graduated from Burnham High School in Sylvania and was a World War II Vet. After the War, he worked at Lownsbury Chevrolet, later went to trade school and became a master auto mechanic. For many years until he retired, he was a small business owner of Triangle Sales & Service in South Toledo. Upon retirement, he loved everything outdoors including gardening, bicycling, boating, traveling, spending time in Florida or the cottage in Reading, Michigan, mowing the ditch at church, tinkering with his many projects around the house and enjoying each day for what it would bring.
Jerry’s greatest joy was his family, especially his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He is survived by Mary Lou (Frost), his wife of 24 years, Daughters – Connie McHugh, Nancy Grier (Terry) and Sandy Hocevar (Ken), Step Daughters – Linda Filby and Beth Coomer, Step Son – Mike (Debbie) Frost, Grandchildren and Spouses, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary (Tucker) of 45 years and Step Son – Charlie Frost.
A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held on January 27, with visitation at 11:30am-2:00pm, followed by a service and luncheon at Sylvania First United Methodist Church. His wish, in lieu of flowers are donations to Sylvania First United Methodist Church or Promedica Foundation in Memory of Gerald Miller. The Family thanks everyone for their Love and Support.
