Gerald A. “Jerry” Brummett, 84, of Toledo, OH, passed away Monday evening February 26, 2024. He was born December 30, 1939, in Toledo, OH, to parents, Alger and Georgia (Clark) Brummett. Jerry was a sheet metal worker by trade, but his passion was restoring older classic cars. He has won many National and State awards for his restorations. Jerry was recognized in the Toledo Blade for a Packard Limousine he restored for Robert Stranahan, that is still often displayed at the Wildwood Manor House. He was a member of many local and national car clubs. In his younger years, Jerry enjoyed racing motorcycles. One thing that has remained constant over the years is his love of The Ohio State Buckeyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Rose (Dziurda) Brummett; sisters and their spouses, Norma (Eddie) Sherer and Beatrice (Manuel) Valdez; and brother, Marshall Brummett.
