George Michael Vergote

 George M. Vergote, 64, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  
  He was born November 16, 1954 in Adrian, MI, to Charley and Adeline (VanHove) Vergote.
Besides raising his three children George was a self-employed farmer most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and making others laugh.      
  He is survived by his loving children, Josh, Abby, and George II Vergote; siblings, Diane (John) Post, Charley (Melanie) Vergote and former wife Michele Vergote     
   George was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Margo, sisters; Kathy Goetz and Sharlene Simpson.    
   Friends may join the family at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, on Friday August 9, 2019 for a gathering from 4 to 8pm.   
   There will be a burial service on Saturday August 10th at 8:30am in St. Anthony cemetery 2621 W Erie Rd, Temperance, MI. Those wishing to give a memorial will be Donor’s  Choice.
