Gary Steven Rice

Gary S. Rice, 68, of Toledo, OH, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid Center. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, July 22, 1956, to parents Robert
and Susan (Bingham) Rice. Gary was employed with the Ohio Department of Transportation for many years. He was a long and active member of Gesu Catholic Church. Gary loved his
family. dogs and cats, and rock music, especially the Beatles and Led Zeppelin.
He is survived by daughters Sarah and Kathleen (Shaun Davis) Rice; sons Sean and Luke (Sara Stotz) Rice; brother Dan Rice; mother-in-law Joanne Kolinski; and sister-in-law Betsy Gorden.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Ann Marie Rice who passed in 2021, and brother Tim Rice.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at the Gesu
Catholic Church, Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11:00am. Gary will be laid to rest beside Ann at the St. Anthony Cemetery, Temperance, MI.
Gary led a life of sincerity and thoughtfulness, he helped not only his children, without anything expected in return. He also helped out his mother-in-law after her stroke so she could live
independently.
