Eric Scott Strouse

Eric S. Strouse, 45, a former Sylvania, OH, resident, currently residing in Cleveland, OH, passed away suddenly Sunday, September 24, 2023. Eric was a 1996 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School. He had been employed with Progressive Insurance for many years and was currently working with Cortes Campers. Eric was an avid golfer and fan of the Detroit Tigers. 

He is survived by his father, Dennis (Gwyn) Strouse; sons, Jak and Karson Strouse; brothers, Bernie (Stephinie) and David Strouse; companion, Chaney Zemar; stepsister, Brigit Thorn; stepbrothers, Charles Jr. and Christopher  (Sheri) Thorn; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teri (Strouse) Scott. 

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Friday, October 6, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Funeral Mass will be conducted at the Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr St., Toledo, OH, Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Following Mass, Eric will be entombed near his family at Toledo Memorial Park.
