Eric James Albring, Sr., of Toledo, OH, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, OH. He was born May 8, 1959 to James Lee Albring and Judythe (nee Wheeler) Ganoom. He is survived by his son, EJ Albring II (Asia); mother, Judythe Ganoom; sisters, Lisa Albring and Annette Albring; partner, Sheri Jackson; stepson, James Arehart; and close friend, Elaine Schlagheck.
Eric had served in the US Army from 1979 to 1985. He was a renowned master mixologist and bartender, who had made his name at Toledo-staple, Dominic's Italian during the 1980s and later Captain Jack's Tiki Bar at the Wyndham Royal Vista Hotel in Pompano Beach, FL during the 2000s. He later opened a Cajun restaurant and then pizzeria before moving back to Toledo, OH, where he owned and managed a handful of businesses in other industries before retiring and passing away shortly thereafter.
Friends may call at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main Street, Sylvania, OH, Thursday, June 16th from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. The Toledo Sylvania Elks Lodge #53 will conduct a service at the funeral home Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M.
