Elsie "Babe" (Wagonfeald) Jackson

Elsie “Babe” Jackson, passed away peacefully in her home, Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the age of 91.  Elsie Wagonfeald was born, December 5, 1933, in Curtice, Ohio.  She was one of five children and the only daughter of Thomas and Elsie (Black) Wagonfeald.  She married the love of her life, Albert Lee Jackson, December 19, 1952, they were married for 57 wonderful years.  In addition to raising a family, they enjoyed many years of square dancing, camping, traveling and faithfully attending church with their family.

Elsie wore many hats over the years, including devoted wife, mother, nurse and several volunteer positions within their church, East Toledo Baptist.

Elsie is survived by children, Cindy (Dan) Day, Albert (Cheryl) Jackson, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her, Parents, beloved husband, Albert, son Danny and  brothers, Thomas, Jack, Albert James and David Wagonfeald.
