Elaine Bonnie (Hajski) Steward

Elaine B. Steward, 80, a longtime resident of Sylvania Township, passed away, Wednesday, March 06, 2024, at the  Kingston Care Center, Sylvania. She was born in Toledo, OH, June 7, 1943. Elaine worked as a dental technician early in her career, and later took a position at the K Mart store on Central Ave, located near her home because she didn’t drive. Elaine walked to and from work using the proceeds to help pay for her son’s tuition at the University of Toledo. Elaine enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Charlston, S.C. to visit family. She was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the University of Michigan.

Elaine is survived by her loving son James (Carol) Steward; and sister-in-law Milene-Davidson-Steward. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry A. Steward Jr.

At Elaine’s request there will be no service or visitation, she will be laid to rest beside Harry at Toledo Memorial Park.
