Dr. Stanley Joseph Radin, age 89, beloved husband of Elaine Radin, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024.
Loving father of Edwin (Judy), Jeff (Judy), and Chuck; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Mathew, Joshua, Kyle, Kristina, Kylie, Samantha, and Courtney; dear brother of Clara Amani (Chiam deceased) and Shirley Tochtermann (Joseph deceased). Great grandfather of eight.
Stan was born in Chattanooga, TN on Sept 11, 1934, to Jack and Esther Radin.
He attended both undergraduate and medical school at the University of Tennessee and graduated with honors in 1957.
During his time in college, Stan served honorably as an active member of the ROTC. Upon graduation, he relocated to Toledo, Ohio where he opened his own dental practice, practicing in the Sylvania/Toledo area for 52 years and retiring in 2009. Stan’s devotion to and care for his patients was memorable, setting a high bar for future practitioners of dentistry in the greater Toledo area.
He enjoyed traveling and vacationing all over the world with Elaine. He also enjoyed antiquing, gardening, camping, and playing cards with his friends. He lovingly supported his three sons’ activities throughout the years, such as scouting, sports, and music. Stan’s kindness, empathy, and sense of humor will be greatly missed but always fondly remembered.
The family requests that any Memorial donations in Stan's name be made to Alzheimer’s Association at: https://act.alz.org
