Dorothy Phyllis (Price) Dusseau

Dorothy P Dusseau 97 of Livonia MI died on Thursday March 7, 2024.  Dorothy was born 2/22/1927 to Hilda (Iffland) and Homer Price in Tecumseh MI and lived in Ohio for 35 years before moving to Michigan.  She was married 52 years to Eugene C Dusseau before his passing.  Survivors include 3 daughters: Cheryl and Nelson Galante Canton Mi, Barbara and Daniel Behrend Waunakee Wi, JoDee and Paul Dillon Plymouth Mi, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 

Dorothy worked as a secretary, realtor, and housewife.  She loved to travel, shop, and spend time with grandchildren.  Dorothy was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star Palestine Chapter 51.  Dorothy had a creative knack for looking at colors, arranging flowers and wall decorations and seeing potential for room design options.  She loved to drive around and see the places that meant something to her and walk the stores at the mall.  Most of all she took great joy at being with her grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, siblings Glenwood and Joan and her parents Hilda and Homer.  Her final resting place is in Metamora Ohio. 

Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Saturday March 16, 2024, 1:00 P.M. until the service begins at 2:30 P.M. Interment will follow at Amboy Cemetery, Fulton County, Ohio.
