Donna Jean Ciaffaglione

Donna Jean Ciaffaglione, 97, of Toledo, OH, and Bradenton, FL, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Bradenton. She was born August 19, 1928, in Toledo, OH, to parents Earl and Martha Young. Donna graduated from the Notre Dame Academy. Over the years Donna owned and operated manufactured home parks in Toledo, Tiffin, and Erie, MI.

She is survived by her loving, faithful companion of more than 32 years, Coleman B. McElyea; daughters Margaret “Magic” (Donald) McBride; sons Anthony and John Saionz,; and four grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sharifa Essex and brother Donald Saionz.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Monday, December 15, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11:00am. She will be entombed at Toledo Memorial Park at the conclusion of the funeral ceremony.

Donna embraced her Chrisitan Faith all her life, she will be missed.

Those wishing to offer memorials are asked to consider, in lieu of flowers, tributes to the St. Jude Christian’s Research Hospital, that was founded by her cousin Danny Thomas.
