Dolores J Ostrander

Dolores J. Ostrander, 91, a life-long Riga Township resident, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, at Flower Hospital. She was born at home to parents Edward and Sylvia (Griewahn) Holtz.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Bill), Miller; sons, John (Sue), and Mark Ostrander; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; sister, Carol Alexander; brother, Duane Holtz; daughter-in-law, Valeria Ostrander; and sister-in-law, Barbara Holtz. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ronald L. Ostrander, who passed in 2002; son, Gary Ostrander; granddaughter, Andrea; brother, Hubert Holtz; and sister-in-law, Lois Holtz.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at the Zion Lutheran Church, Ottawa Lake, MI. Pastor C.B. Wade Jr. officiating, Wednesday, September 4th at 11:00am, where family and friends may gather one-hour prior. Dolores will be laid to rest beside Ronald at Riga Cemetery.
