Delbert A. Huston, 82, of Toledo, OH, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, surrounded by his family. Del was born May 5, 1942, in Genoa, OH, to parents Delbert Arnold and Frances Romola (Brown) Huston. He was an Operating Engineer working out of Union Local 18, for many years. Del was proud to have served with the United States Army.
Del enjoyed fishing, traveling, scrapping metal and loved going to the casino.
He is survived by his loving wife of more than 32 years Susan (Jones) Huston; children Tim (Crystal) Huston, Tami (Steve) Frederick, Heidi (Keith) McCullough, Sundi (Mark) Papulias, Sheri Huston-Tarver and Earl Brannon III; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, sister Bonnie Tonglet; and brother James (Illene) Huston; Del was preceded in death by his parents; sister Connie Swaim and brother-in-law Earl Tonglet.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm, where Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2024, at 11:00am. Del will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park, with Military Honors following the Funeral Ceremony.
