Debra Jo (Troiano) DeLong

Debra Jo Troiano DeLong, age 70, passed away on December 27, 2023, surrounded by family. She was born on October 10, 1953, in Lucas, Ohio, to Joseph and Beverly Troiano.

Debra worked in the Bridal Registry Department at Macy's Department Store, where her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Along with spending time with her grandchildren and family, Debra was a devoted NBA basketball fan. She would enjoy talking about the biggest games and giving her thoughts on her favorite team, the Warriors.

Preceded in death by her parents, Debra is survived by her loving husband, Mark Patrick DeLong, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. She is also survived by her two daughters, Jamie Hunt (Aaron) and Erin Stambaugh (James), and her brother Rick Troiano (Susan).

Debra was a proud and adoring grandmother to five grandchildren: Emma, Molly, Claire, Lyssiana, and Joseph. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her legacy will continue to live on through them and the traditions she built with them.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on January 8, 2023, at St. Leo's The Great Catholic Church with Father Goben officiating. A memorial in her hometown of Toledo, Ohio, will be held at St. Jospeh Catholic Church, Sylvania, OH. Saturday March 9, 2024, gathering from 10:00 A.M. until the mass begins at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude's, Children’s Hospital, reflecting Debra's compassionate spirit.
