Cory T Peterlin, 52, of Petersburg, MI passed after a brief and private battle with cancer on April 4, 2025. He was born in Sandusky, OH on April 24,1972 to Andrew and Sandy (Greene) Peterlin.
Cory honorably served in the Army National Guard. He worked for AT&T (formally Ameritech and SBC) for over 25 years in several positions, including as a lineman, telecommunications engineer and networking planning engineer. His last position was a network planning engineer. He always kept busy. If he wasn’t golfing or riding dirt bikes with his friends, he could be found tinkering in the garage or working on a home improvement project. Cory was very creative and a talented craftsman, taking pride in his work and building a beautiful home for his family. Cory was a devoted father, husband, brother and son who found great joy spending time with his family. Though he was a quiet man, his closest friends and family will remember not only his quiet strength, but his silly sense of humor and quirky antics.
Cory is survived by his wife, Amanda; children, Marisa Peterlin, Carson Romp and Wyatt Peterlin; mother, Sandy Miekos; brother, Lonnie (Tammy) Peterlin; mother-in-law, Denise Knight; father-in-law, Herbert (Carol) Snider; sisters-in-law, Ursula (Terrence) Durden and Sarah (Cincy) Gould; and many nieces and nephews. Cory was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 3pm until 7pm at Reeb Funeral Home where the funeral service will be on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family request donations to St. Jude Children Hospital or Lymphoma Foundation through the American Cancer Society.
