Connie (Paschen) Manrow was born in Sylvania, Ohio on April 20th, 1947. She passed away peacefully at home on March 11th after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Mary (Butz) Paschen.
Connie is survived by her husband Jay Manrow, children Carrie, Mary, Jeff (Vickie) &; Michele (Stan) and brother Larry (Margie) Paschen, 12 grandchildren and a plethora of great-grandchildren. She also had many informally adopted children and grandchildren, as she made everyone feel like part of her family.
Connie’s love of people showed in her chosen careers. She worked in education, tutoring kids that might otherwise fall through the cracks. Then spent many years working in retail where customers and employees alike were blessed by her warm and loving nature. She went on to work in banking where her customers looked forward to the personalized care she gave each of them.
After retiring, she enjoyed her time with family and friends camping at Fire Lake and playing dominoes at “Joe’s Pool Hall”. For those who knew her, she will always be “Loved to the beach and back”. A celebration of life will be held at the Sylvania Moose Lodge Sunday, March 23rd from 12-3:00. P.M.
