Obituary
Chester “Jim” Blazey, 90, of Montpelier, OH, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Parkview Decalb Hospital, Auburn, IN. Jim was born in Toledo, OH, July 10, 1932, to parents Joseph and Magdaline (Hinz) Blazey. He was a mechanic with both Gulf Oil and Johnson Controls for many years until retiring in 1998. He was proud to have served with the United States Army during the Korean War.
Jim is survived by his wife Patricia (Barlowe) Blazey; daughters Linda (Kelly) Watts, Felicia Oren, Melinda (Jim) Fletcher, and Diane (Wade) Raab; son Dan Winebrenneri; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouses Georgina (Burkett) Blazey and Edna (Smalley) Blazey; son James Chester Blazey and siblings Frank, Leo, Dorothy, and Elsie Blazey.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 11:00 am until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 1:00pm with Military Honors.
