It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Carol Anne Struckholz left this world for a better one on January 27th , 2023. Carol was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on July 24th, 1944 and grew up in Seattle, Washington.
Carol was the beloved wife and best friend of Tony Struckholz, whom she married on March 8th, 1969. Together they had one son, Dave Struckholz, and were blessed with two grandsons, Lucas and Cole Struckholz. Carol was also the daughter of Lora J. Burton and James M. Chadwick, and the sister of Jim Chadwick (Rose). Carol was an important part of an extended family of numerous nieces and nephews, and the Outlaws. Carol had a diverse career, including a tenure as Executive Assistant for St. John Jesuit High School for over 18 years, where she worked for four different Presidents. She was also involved in various other careers and endeavors, including her time at D&D Enterprises.
Carol hobbies included travel, golf, fishing, and vacationing at Bear Lake for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Sundowners golf league for 20 plus years. Her favorite things included watching her grandsons play sports, being a parishioner of Christ the King for over 40 years, and spending quality time with friends and family, including her Friday night dinner group.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cherry Street Mission, the Open Door Ministry, or Ebeid Hospice. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Flower Hospital and Ebeid Hospice, as well as all of Carol's friends and family for their love and support. Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2023 from 3pm until 7pm at the Reeb Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be at Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:30am.
