Carol Moates Obituary

Carol Lynn Moates, 60, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Promedica Ebeid Hospice Inpatient Residence, Sylvania. Carol was born in Oregon, Ohio, August 14, 1961, to parents Virgil and Mary (Zimmerman) LaCourse. She served as a Senior Customer Associate with Owens Corning for more than 20 years.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of more than 41 years, Scott E. Moates; sons Deryk and Tyler (Kaleigh) Moates, and their son Dawson; mother, Mary; sisters Terry Zimmerman and Kim Bodi; and brother Virgil LaCourse. She was preceded in death by her father.

At Carol’s request there was no service or visitation.
