Carol Ann (Stork) Furfaro

Carol Furfaro passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 10 th while under Hospice Care. Carol was born on July 24,1949 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1966 graduate of Notre Dame Academy and graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1971.

Carol was passionate about being a Wolverine fan and held season tickets for many years. She was a cat lover and was a volunteer and secretary for Save-A-Pet. She was a Systems Manager for 30 years for Picton Cavanaugh/Sky Insurance retiring in 2004. She is survived by her sister, Jan (Jeff) Killion, niece, Heather (Jason) Slagle, nephews, Justin Killion (Kate), Ben and Jacob Slagle, friend, Jason Tillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Geraldine Stork, and her husband, Michael Furfaro whom she married on May 6, 1977.                                   

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 23 rd from 10 am to 1 pm at Reeb Funeral Home in Sylvania. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol’s life. The family would like to thank Melissa Goodwin, friend and caretaker for her dedication to Carol and also the nursing staff at Ohio Living Health and Hospice.
