Carol married the love of her life, the late Gerald E. Fackler, on December 28, 1957, and lived happily together for almost 60 years, before his passing in 2016.

She deeply devoted her entire life to her family, leaving her position as secretary at DeVilbiss Co. after the birth of her first child. Fackler; grandchildren Matthew, Samuel, Jacob, Christina, and James Fackler; great-grandchildren Weston and Cali Fackler; sister Betty Jo (Yerg) Anthon; and step-grandchildren Jeremy and Abonie.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald; her second son David C. Fackler, who both passed 2016; parents,  her step-father Joseph Yerg; sisters, Janet (Davis) Decker and Pauline (Yerg) Dinkens; and brother, James Davis.

Carol was a committed “stay at home Mom” before the phrase existed and leaves behind nothing but good memories.
