Carl Monhollen

Carl Monhollen, 83, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on Monday May 27th, 2024, at Elizabeth Scott Community. Carl Monhollen was born on January 22, 1941, to Luster and Laura Monhollen in Siler, Kentucky. 

Carl worked many years for Kellermeyer Bergenson's Services working as a custodian. Before that he worked many years as a glass cutter and handler for local glass factories as well as a custodian at B&F Medical in Toledo, Ohio. Carl enjoyed classic car shows and gardening. Carl loved tinkering around in his garden and even won awards. Carl was a loving husband to Barbara Monhollen and was a great father figure to Jeffrey McKiddy, as well as a great papa to Conner and Devin McKiddy.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara Monhollen, his siblings, Ellis Monhollen, Willard Monhollen, Opal Bundy, Edna Monhollen, L.S. Monhollen, Dora Ann Eaton, and Nadine Solis. Carl is survived by Thelma (Arlie) Fuson, and Jeffrey (Jessica) McKiddy, and his two grandsons Devin and Conner McKiddy.

A private burial will be held.
