C. Edward Burge

C. Edward Burge, 86, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Friday May 3, 2024. He was born July 25, 1937, in Mayfield, Kentucky, to parents Harold and Victoria (Toon) Burge. Ed was employed with the Jeep Corporation for many years before retiring. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed gardening.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda (Cox) Burge; children, Kimberly Langenderfer, David (Karen) Burge, Susan Monday, and Lisa Naumann; grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Matthew, and Brandi; great-granddaughters, Gwendalynn and Miribelle; and sisters, Donna Kiefer and Mary Rahman. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Joy Burge.

Friends are invited to gather at the Berkey Congregational Christian Church, 12036 Sylvania Metamora Road, Berkey, Ohio, on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the Memorial Service begins at 2:00 PM.
