Brittany McIntyre Obituary

Brittany Paige McIntyre, age 29, of Toledo, OH passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 13, 2018.  Brittany was born in Toledo, OH May 24, 1988 to Deborah (Miller) Driver and Arthur McIntyre.  Brittany was a smart, charming, kind and loving human being.  She was a nurturer with a heart of gold.  She was a professional nanny for young children and caretaker for the elderly.  She aspired to be a social worker and loved to help others in need.  Brittany had great fashion sense with a robust collection of clothes.  She always had a trendy haircut, changing color and adding accessories.  She had a beautiful and infectious smile and could light up a room.  She was never afraid to be herself, and open-minded to those around her.  A very charming warm personality, Brittany had a sense of humor like no other and had a huge heart for people.  She was a social butterfly in school and had more friends than she could count.  Brittany got along with everyone she encountered, and people could feel the love that she poured out.  Brittany was also a great athlete and would participate in almost anything that involved competition.  She played several organized sports as a kid and throughout high school including baseball (boys) softball and basketball.

Brittany was a tomboy as a kid and always would try to keep up with her older brother.  They were 2 ½ years apart but she never knew the difference.  Brit often referred to her brother as “Bear” because she couldn’t pronounce Brandon’s name.  Even though they had their sibling rivalry growing up they had a tight bond all their lives.  Brittany idolized her mother.  They were basically twins and virtually did everything together.  Her mother always supported her and was with her through every hardship.  Brittany shared a special bond with her father that included a love for sports.  They bonded a lot this past year when she was struggling, and her father would drop everything to help her and loved her immensely.  Brittany was a great big sister and mentor to her little sister, Taylor always encouraged and inspired Brittany.

Brittany was considered the “Selfie Queen”.  She loved flashing her beautiful smile to the entire world.  She also captured memories with friends and families and lived life to the fullest.

Survived by father, Arthur (Tracy) McIntyre, mother, Debbie (Joe Glanzman) Driver, brother Brandon (Gabrielle) McIntyre, sister Taylor, grandmother Barb Eberlin, niece and nephew Harrison and Kensington, uncle Dave ( Fiance Jean Imes) McIntyre,  aunt Nancy Walters and K-9 companion Max.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother Betty Deckleman.

She will be dearly missed by many.
