Brian John Freeman, Jr., 25, passed away unexpectedly early in the morning on March 16, 2021 at his home in Toledo, OH. Brian was born on May 8, 1995 to Brian and Ann Freeman in Toledo. Brian was a hard-working, charismatic, and compassionate person with a beautiful smile that would always light up the room. Brian was loving and caring and always sought out the best interests of his family, friends, and everyone around him. Brian graduated from Toledo Christian High School in 2013, was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Bowling Green State University, and recently completed his electrical apprenticeship through IBEW Local 8. Brian was an avid sports fan who achieved all-conference honors in both Baseball and Football at Toledo Christian. Brian was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys fan and he also enjoyed watching Boston Red Sox baseball. Brian was very active in the community and loved to play softball and golf with his buddies, he loved to go fishing with his grandfather, Dale Norman, and he loved to meet at his favorite hangout, Moe’s Place, in Rossford. Brian is survived by his parents, Brian and Ann Freeman; siblings, Brett and LeeAnn Freeman; grandparents, Dale and Paula Norman, Deb and Dave Loy, Gloria Freeman; great grandmother, Irene Norman; girlfriend, Meranda Parrish; and his dogs, Bella and Rory. Brian leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles and cousins but had a special bond with his cousins Teddi and Simone and considered them his sisters. Brian was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas J. Freeman, his great grandfather, Dale G. Norman, his great uncle, Vernon C. Carter, and his childhood family dog, Lola. Brian’s family is at peace knowing he had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that one day, we will be reunited with him in Heaven. Visitation will be at Reeb’s Funeral home in Sylvania, OH on Tuesday March 23rd from 2-8 pm. Brian was raised attending Westgate Chapel where a service will be held on Wednesday March 24th at 11am with a luncheon to follow.
