Brent Edward Langenderfer

Brent E. Langenderfer, 67, of Toledo, Ohio passed away with his family at his bedside on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Flower Hospital, Sylvania, Ohio.  He was born on September 15, 1953 at Toledo Hospital to Cyril and Regina (Myers) Langenderfer.                                                  

Brent grew up in Assumption, Ohio and attended Evergreen High School. He began his professional career as a manager at Churchill’s supermarket in Sylvania and continued his career at the Anderson’s store in Toledo where he retired.  He enjoyed golfing, watching sports with his friends from Ralphie’s, and most recently you could find him in the last seat of the sports bar sipping iced tea at the VI, Village Inn.  Brent was an amazing Papa to his six grandchildren. His greatest joy was visiting his children and grandchildren weekly and going to all of his grandchildren’s events and activities.  Brent was very punctual and someone you could always rely on whenever you needed him.  He took care of everyone around him.  His handshake was always welcoming, and his hug was always engaging and sincere.                                 

Brent was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.  He is survived by his children, Abbey (Brian Jackson) Boston and Ryan (Emily) Langenderfer; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Brianna, Olivia and Rylin Langenderfer, Emma Boston and Brady Jackson; brothers, Allan (Virginia) and Dick (Chris) Langenderfer and his nieces and nephews who were dear to his heart.    

Visitation will be at the Reeb Funeral Home on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. where the funeral service will begin.  Contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Church in Assumption Ohio or to Crossroads Community Church in Ottawa Lake, MI.
