Bradley William Strahan, age 49, of Blissfield, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at home, surrounded by loving family members.
Brad was born on March 22, 1976, to Gordon and Cheryl (Lennard) Strahan. He graduated from Whiteford High School in 1994 and later attended Owens Community College (“Where smart people go”), where he received an associate degree in Agribusiness. Brad had a deep love and passion for agriculture that began at an early age on the Strahan Brothers Farm.
He started his career at the age of 19, interning at Terra Plant Metamora, which launched his 30 years of sales excellence through Growers Service, UAP, Crop Production Services, and Nutrien Ag. However, work never felt like work to Brad. He treated and loved his co‑workers like family. The countless comments of “Best Boss Ever,” “Taught Me,” “Best Mentor/Role Model,” and the shared farming knowledge came from everyone who crossed his path.
Fatherhood took priority over everything else; Brad was always there for his children, even during the busy season of his job. Whether he was coaching a basketball game or golfing with his boys in the afternoon, he took pride in never missing a ball game—always sitting in the same spots in the basketball arena or at the ball diamond. In addition to his two sons, Brad took on two more children to raise, care for and mentor.
Everyone who knew Brad knew how much he loved spending time with family and friends, mentoring others (often without realizing it), working on the family farm with his elite crew, sharing sports knowledge, storytelling, traveling, and using his signature “Brad Lingo,” to name a few. He also had a soft spot for his furry friends—Henley, and now Bonnie and Clyde.
He will always be remembered as “The Legend” and the best husband, father, son, brother… the best everything. As one person summed it up: “Always outstanding in his field.”
Brad is survived by his devoted wife, Amanda; his children, Evan (Sally Moore), Alyssa (Jay Griffin), Elliot, and Colin, as they blended their families 10 years ago; his parents, Gordon and Cheryl; his brothers, Rodney, Dan, and Charlie; his grandmother, Patty Lennard; many uncles, aunts, cousins and in-laws; and his best friends, Corey and Nick.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maryann Strahan; grandfather, Jack Lennard; grandmother, Betty Bischoff; uncles, Keith Bischoff and Brian Strahan; and great grandparents, James and Dorothy Ery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations go to the Hospice of Lenawee Heart Endowment Fund in Brad's name.
