Bradley K. Stockton, 69, of Holland, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2025.
Born on February 22, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa, Brad grew up with a warm spirit and a love for life that never dimmed. He graduated from Sylvania High School in 1974 and began his college journey at Wittenberg University before earning both his business degree and MBA from the University of Toledo.
Brad retired in 2013 after a long and successful career with UPS, where he was known for his dedication, hard work, and camaraderie with colleagues. A true people person, Brad was outgoing, upbeat, and always ready with a good joke or the latest headlines—he was a conversationalist who could brighten any room.
He had a passion for sports, especially cheering on the Chicago Bears and the New York Yankees, and enjoyed many rounds of golf over the years. Brad also loved spending time at the beach, fishing, grilling, and gardening—especially growing homegrown tomatoes. He loved being around people and was always ready to celebrate life with friends and family.
Brad was a devoted husband, a loving brother, and a proud “Dad” to his beloved dogs and cat. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Will Stockton.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Young-Stockton; siblings Rhonda (Mike) Duplay of Yucca Valley, CA, Sonnie (Tom) Ryder of Fuquay Varina, NC, Lori (Radford) Goodell of York, SC, and Derek Stockton of Los Angeles, CA; sister-in-law Kristine Young of Bedford, MI and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Brad’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Toledo Humane Society at https://toledohumane.org/give In Memory of Bradley Stockton.
Brad’s legacy lives on in the joy he brought to others, his infectious laughter, and the friendship he shared with all who knew him.
