Brad A Moores

Brad A. Moores, 53, of Toledo, OH passed away at Mercy Health St. Anne’s Hospital after battling an illness. He was born January 22,1970 to Thomas Moores and Elaine Heiss.

Brad graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School in 1988 where he made the Ohio all-state golf team and graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He was an entrepreneur starting and running his own commercial and residential roofing business, Becker Roofing. Brad was Mr. Ohio in 2003 in body building, an avid golfer and guitar player. He enjoyed classic cars, rock-n-roll, the blues and attending concerts. Brad loved his gentle pit-bulls, Sandy and Abby.

Brad is survived by his mom, Elaine R. Heiss; brothers, Jason (Melissa) Moores; Paul (Shawnna) Heiss, Maggie, Katie Heiss; extended family, Julie (Jim) Bartnik, Carly Conover, Jet, MJ, Collins; Lindsay (Craig) Riegle, Samantha; Nancy (Gordon) Gilmore, Anya, Sam; and special friends, Don, Jeremy, Ed & Rob. Preceding him in death is his father, Thomas Moores.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 1,2023 at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main St. Sylvania, OH from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Brad’s name to a local cancer research charity: Simone Foundation, 1024 Valetta Dr. Temperance, MI 48182.
