Bonnie Jean Matthews

Bonnie Matthews was born October 22, 1940 and passed away on October 10, 2025

A 1958 graduate of Whitmer High School. Member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior since 1956. Taught Sunday School and was the superintendent for over 50 years and sang in the choir. She coached girls' softball at Westwood, Hopewell and Meadowvale. She also coached cheerleaders at Hopewell School for 28 years.

Over the years she worked for the Loyal Order of Moose #713, Toledo Optical, Fietz Optical, Ken's Flowers and Craig's Flowers.

Her parents, Harry and Mabel Matthews preceded her in death along with special friend Louise Sheffield. Surviving are several cousins and special nieces Virginia, Linda, and Allison.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 16, 2025 at Toledo Memorial Park at 11:00 A.M.
