Betty Ann (Osten) Ovall

Betty Ann (Osten) Ovall 67 of Holland Ohio passed away peacefully through heavens gates on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family and her dear friend.

She was born October 1, 1952 to parents Carl Osten Jr. and Rosline Davis.  She was proceeded in death by both her parents, sisters Janice Osten and Lois (Osten) Buck.  Betty is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Robert Ovall II, together they raised two children, son Robert Ovall III, and daughter Heather (Brock) Westhoven.  Granddaughters Amelia Grace-Ann Westhoven, Abigail Rose Westhoven, and Olivia Ann Ovall.   Sister Debra (Ken) Mockenstrum, nephews Derek Ruckman, Larry Buck, niece Tammy (Buck) Borchers and special great nephews Dirk and Rex and niece Shelby Ruckman, and great great nephews Brady and Colby and her best friend Cathy Smith.

Betty cherished the times she spent with family and her grandchildren.  She enjoyed family cookouts with her sisters and spending time drinking coffee with her best friend. Her home was an open door to all her family.  Betty was known for her feisty spirit, she enjoyed bowling, puzzles, and bingo and could throw a mean horseshoe.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Due to recent circumstances and regulations the funeral will be limited to immediate family to celebrate her life.  Services will be held at Reeb Funeral home in Sylvania Ohio.  For those who cannot attend, her service will be streamed on her Facebook page approximately at 9:30 am Friday March 27, 2020.   Betty will be laid to rest at Springfield Township Cemetery in Holland, Ohio.
