Betty Lou (Moore) Davoll passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday May 5, 2020. Betty was born November 7, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to the Late Richard and Helen (Haines) Moore. Betty graduated from DeVilbiss High School. She married the love of her life Richard “Dick” Davoll in 1948, and celebrated 72 years of marriage, March 20, 2020. Betty was the “CEO” of domestic adventures for the family. She enjoyed cooking and baking “from scratch”, which she learned from her mother, along with working at a restaurant called “Bib and Tucker” which was located at the corner of Sylvania and Phillips. She could be found making pies weekly in “Her Kitchen”. The family especially enjoyed the “Homemade Pizza” which was a family favorite. Betty also enjoyed drawing pictures of animals and nature and was very soft spoken which made her a good listener. She would save money from pop bottle deposits to take the family to Cedar Point. Betty and Dick would spend the summer weekends at Vineyard Lake and then they bought a cottage on Nettles Lake, where she enjoyed watching the family water ski and swim.
