She could be found making pies weekly in “Her Kitchen”. The family especially enjoyed the “Homemade Pizza” which was a family favorite. Betty also enjoyed drawing pictures of animals and nature and was very soft spoken which made her a good listener. She would save money from pop bottle deposits to take the family to Cedar Point. Betty and Dick would spend the summer weekends at Vineyard Lake and then they bought a cottage on Nettles Lake, where she enjoyed watching the family water ski and swim.
