Barbara A. (Stevens) Ulrich

Barbara A. Ulrich, 70, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, surrounded by her family. She began her battle with breast cancer in 1996. In 2014 Barbara was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Because of her diagnosis Barbara dedicated  her life to helping others with the same disease. She was employed for many years as a Special Education Teacher with the Toledo Public Schools, after retiring Barbara continued to teach at Penta County Vocational School for 8 more years. She was an avid knitter and gifted many projects to many families and friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband Michael Ulrich, whom she wed May 30, 1980. She is also survived by her daughter Katherine  (Bryan McCandlish) Ray; sons Gerry (Michael) Holmes and Geoff Ulrich; grandchildren Zachary, Brianna, and Thomas; sister Linda Bischoff. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Richard and Margaret Stevens.
