Barbara (Warmington) Ruttan

Barbara Jean Ruttan, of Crossville, TN, passed away at the Cumberland Medical Center, after a long bout with Congestive Heart Failure.   She was born in Toledo, Ohio January 29, 1930, the daughter of Esther and Cal Warmington. She married James Ruttan on June 5th, 1948.  Mrs. Ruttan lived in Ottawa Lake and Hudson Michigan before moving to the Crossville area in 1988. She was Secretary/Treasurer for Eddy’s Gas and Oil Company and actively served in the business until retiring in 1979, to parent her young grandson.  She was a member of, and taught Sunday school at the First Congregational Church in Hudson, Michigan.  She is survived by her son, David Ruttan of Englewood, FL., grandsons, Nathan Barss, of Crossville, TN., David II, and Jason Ruttan; granddaughter, Holly Ruttan; and brother Robert (Maria) Warmington. Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter; Susan Barss and beloved husband James Ruttan,   A memorial service will be held at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, in the Chapel of Peace, Friday March 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
