Barbara Ann Monhollen

Barbara A. Monhollen, 71, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Charter Senior Living. Barbara was born in Toledo, OH, August 14, 1952, to parents Joseph and Evelyn (Carpenter) Kowalski. She graduated from Summerfield High School, Petersburg, MI. in 1971. Barbara was employed as an Account Manager with Medical Mutual of Ohio for many years before retiring. She enjoyed working in her award-winning garden and spending time with family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 29 years, Carl Monhollen, son Jeffrey (Jessica) McKiddy, and their children Devin and Conner that Barbara adored; brothers David (Mary), Ron (Kathy), and Robert Kowalski; sisters Carol Rauch and Kim Parker; and 51 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Douglas Kowalski.

Friends may gather at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. The burial service will be private.
