Barbara Ann Bonnar, age 77, of Lambertville, MI passed away at her home Thursday February 29th, 2024. Barbara was born August 10th, 1946, in Toledo, OH to Edward and Victoria (Szymanski) Nowicki. She was a 1964 graduate of Central Catholic HS in Toledo. She met the love of her life, Michael, in 1966 in Sandusky OH, while he was at Camp Perry.
She was a stay-at-home mom, who raised four children. One of her favorite pastimes, was taking long car rides and visiting the places where her and her husband met and fell in love. They would go for car rides to Jolly Rogers in Port Clinton for a fish fry and Jerrys Pub in Brooklyn MI. Barb was an enthusiastic collector of Barbie dolls, she loved cooking and feeding her loving family. She was a passionate gardener who was proud of her yard and loved watching the birds and butterflies visit her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 55 years, and sister, JoAnn Kennerly. She is survived by her children, Raquel (Kevin) Leggett, Angie (Miguel) Osuna, Michael Bonnar, Jr and Chris (Sandra) Bonnar; grandchildren, Ashley (Ian), Matthew, Nicholas, Jessica, Miguel II, Gavin, Zachary and Emily; and great-grandchildren, Grayson, Hudson, Shaylee and Jackson; brother, Jerry (Tanya) Nowicki. And her beloved dog, Molly
Visitation will be at the Reeb Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 4pm until 7pm.
The funeral will be at Reeb Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10am. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
