Audrey Sobecki

Audrey Cecelia (Anderson) Sobecki, age 86, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at NWO Hospice, surrounded by loved ones. 
She was born on August 19, 1938, to Pauline and Zigmund Anderson in Cleveland, OH. Audrey cherished her 44 years of marriage to her late husband, Robert, and together they raised six wonderful children. Audrey had a deep and steadfast devotion to her Catholic faith. She worked at the Lion Store for 25 years. She enjoyed summer vacations in St. Pete’s Beach with her family and friends and loved to read. Audrey was a dedicated mother and treasured her children. She especially loved her role as a  grandma , Busia, and great grandma  embracing every moment with her  grandchildren and  great-grandchildren.
Audrey was the heart and soul of her family, always making her loved ones feel special with her unwavering support, joy, and encouragement. Whether celebrating big achievements or small milestones, she radiated love and laughter.  Her legacy of warmth, compassion, and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Sobecki; in-laws, Donald and Jackie Sobecki, and William and Angeline (Sobecki )Eble. Left to cherish her memory are her children , Charles Sobecki, Denise (Mark) Duly, Edward (Lisa) Sobecki, Faith (Brian) Pauken, Glen (Joani) Sobecki, Howard (Sarah) Sobecki; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. 
The family will receive visitors at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main St., Sylvania, OH on Wednesday, February 26, 2025,  from 4pm until 8pm .  Visitation will continue at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5373 Main St., Sylvania, OH on Thursday , February 27, 2025 at 10am until the Funeral Mass begins at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Audrey Sobecki to NWO Hospice or Donor’s Choice.
